[HEIMISH] Dailism Brow Cara – Light Brown: Review

Hello ~~

This review was meant for Friday, but since I’ll probably have an exam soon, I decided to write it today, also, I’m quite sick so this probably wouldn’t be as detailed as my reviews usually are.

So today, you’ll have a rare opportunity witnessing me trying to tame my eyebrows using the Heimish Dailism Brow Cara I recently received from Stylekorean.com (check my other Heimish reviews here), and by tame, I mean really tame my forever messy never done eyebrows . I have pretty thick eyebrows so I don’t really need to fill them . I’ve tried many times to brush them and all that stuff but it never worked so I gave up. I have never plucked/waxed them since I’m super lazy and once you touch them you should keep plucking them forever otherwise you’ll end up with a bigger mess than before. I also thought about trimming them but… I don’t know if they’re gonna grow back longer than before (let me know in the comments below if you have already trimmed them, do they grow longer or thicker than before?)

Enough talking, here are some (low quality.. my phone is being a ***) pictures of my lovely *sarcasm* eyebrows (in the first one, my eyebrows are supposedly brushed.. the second one, I brushed them upwards to see how long my brow hairs are)
oh, DON’T JUDGE :3

Now that you have a better idea about how horrible my eyebrows are and how hard brow cara’s jo will be, let’s move to the actual review.

Description and claims:

THICKEN, FILL IN & SHAPE YOUR BROWS

Your eyebrows need special attention, too. Whether you’re thickening, filling in or shaping, wonderfully natural-looking full brows are created in no time with the Heimish Dailism Brow Cara. Formulated using the Velvet Touch System, the texture is simultaneously waxy and powdery and goes on smoothly, drying in seconds. Designed to last all day long, the Brow Cara won’t fade or smudge. The small tapered brush allows for clean and precise application. Available in three beautiful shades of brown.

Volume: 6ml

Packaging:

Just like the other Heimish products, this browcara come in a simple yet elegant tube housed inside a gray and brown long box with eyebrow brush stroke-like graphic prints.

This browcara has long bristles in one side for brushing and coating  your brow hairs, while the other side has short bristles which I find ideal to shape your brows without getting the product all over the place.

Texture, Performance and Swatches:

This is a basic browcara that does its job of grooming and keeping your brow hairs in place while giving it a little bit of a naturally fuller appearance.

This browcara has a waxy and powdery texture that spreads easily with no crunchiness, it holds your brow hairs in place without making them stiff of shiny, and it doesn’t cake up either, it dries in seconds and once it does, it doesn’t fade or smudge the whole day.

That being said, I was quite disappointed at first when it couldn’t take care of that one stubborn hair that refused to join his brothers and lay in place, but after a little bit of effort it finally gave in (not completely but still better than nothing)

Summary
Pros:
– Gives a smooth look, blends well and doesn’t leave the the eyebrows stiff or shiny.
– Does a good job coating and slightly filling the eyebrows.
– Holds your brow hairs in place
– Lasts all day long
– Easy to use, u won’t get the gel all over the place
– This shade fits my natural brow color perfectly
– Dries quickly and doesn’t smudge afterward

Cons:

– It wasn’t able to tame that one hair for 100%. which was kinda expected since I have lovely eyebrows *sarcasm again*
