Apply to dry face and gently massage with circular motions while avoiding the eye area. Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water
This peeling gel has the most adorable packaging in the bunch, which is mainly why I choose it (the other reason is that I’m out of scrubs and peeling gels, so I wanted to try it). To get the product out, all you have to do is take the egg shell off the container, flip the egg yolk cap up and squeeze the rubber base.
This peeling gel isn’t as thick as other ones are neither as liquidy as some others, which makes it easy to control the amount of product you get, but once you start massafing it it turns into a watery consistency.
It has a vague citrusy/flowery scent, it’s not my favorite since it’s kinda strong (and I have a really sensitive nose) but it is quite pleasant.
I applied the gel on my dry skin and massaged it gently in a circular motion, and the first thing I noticed is that it’s pretty mild and gentle. after a few seconds, I started seeing stuff clumping on my face (it was much less than what balled up on the back of my hand), which was fewer than what I was expecting/used to (I have an extremely dehydrated skin and since it’s already winter, I was expecting a lot of stuff coming out of my skin).
After rinsing it off, my skin felt soft and clean, but I was kinda disappointed since I still had some few dry stuff I could feel around my nose area. It has similar effects to the Dr G peeling gel, which means, I still prefer Missha Super Aqua D-TOX Peeling Gel (which I really recommend if you feel like your skin produces much more dry skin cells than the average person yet you don’t wanna over exfoliate your skin)
Would I repurchase it?
I wanted to get in the first place for the packaging, and I already have one now. as for the product itself, I feel like my skin needs something much stronger (especially since I like to exfoliate using a chemical peeling once a week only, twice when using scrubs). I f you have a sensitive skin or don’t have much dead cells but wanna get rid of the sebum and dirt that had built up in your skin, go for it.
